Volta Music is changing and a lot of great stuffs are happening from our Artists gaining national recognitions from award schemes, some playing shows internationally, a well organized awards schemes in the region like the VMAs and even the Standout Artists project, annual events like Edemfest and KeenyIce Explosion concert, bloggers from the region gaining national and international recognition Elorm Beenie and Jonilar, Artist branding themselves uniquely among a lot other highly impressive achievements.

But who else would agree with me that the current VOLTA MUSIGA chapter in the region isn't making a single impact and just wasting the resources they get to run their affairs and they do not reflect the growth in the industry.

And so as a single soul with a lot of interest in Volta showbiz, I say that we need to refresh the whole organization if they must make an impact in the life of MUSIC in the region.

I don't wish to disrespect the guys running affairs now but most of them are just very very old, based only around Ho and haven't done music in a very long time.

Fact is apart from being part of the MUSIGA, most don't do active musicin anyway and don't know the changing trends in Music in the world now. Like we say "demma time pass".

See the biggest problem in Volta is the grown ups supporting the younger ones. Old folks see our lifestyle as Gbevu hence they find reasons to try to pull down the young talents when the Gbevu of yesterday is the creative genius of today.

Just my thought but then MUSIGA in Volta isn't doing a single thing to attract Musicians to sign up or even engage the musicians and create a one Volta with all the music guys on board.

The Volta Musiga must be refreshed or the chance given to the young ones to form another chapter on their own because we need an active and working MUSIGA to compliment and support the growth we have aachieved and achieving.
