Earlier on Thursday and Friday 26th/27th of March 2020, Hon DCE Lawrence Kwami Aziale and also  the in-coming MP for Buem Constituency  led a delegation to continue his Educational tour to educate the  people of Buem against  the spread and preventions measures  of Covid -19 which took him to Lekanti, Oseikrom, New Ayoma, Jasikan and Nsuta community and the Nsuta plantain  market . There he donated Some Veronica buckets , hand sanitizers ,gloves ,Nose mask to the Driver unions, Okada Riders and  the Market women . The Hon DCE Lawrence Kwami Aziale and the team took time to educate them on some preventing  measures to avoid  the spread of the deadly covid-19 in the Jasikan District and the country as a whole . A resource  person from the Health Directorate again took them through hand washing procedures. The communities  in appreciation  thanked the in -coming MP for Buem  Hon Lawrence Kwami Aziale  for the good innitiatives to tackle  the spread of the Virus

THE Ghanaian music industry is dominated by males with a small number of females who have to fight hard to keep up. For Afrobeats artiste Queen Ayorkor, the situation is so because the industry is naturally skewed towards male acts. “Female musicians go through a lot in getting their works out there unlike the males. How many DJs will be willing to promote a song from a female if they don’t have anything to offer? The third edition of the Volta Music Awards took place yesterday at the Ho Technical University auditorium. The event which started with an amazing red carpet session full of glitz and glamour also saw a good number of patrons from all over the region and beyond in attendance to celebrate and support their favorite musicians.   The night saw Jonathan Kofi Woelinam Segbefia professionally known as “Jah Phinga” wining multiple categories including  ‘Artiste of the year’ with his song, “Wodeka” featuring Godwin Selorm.
